What if students skipped classes on a fine spring day?

Introduction
Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
No one knows the adolescent mentality better than John Hughes, whose films speak to teenagers like no others.
Another sunny day in Chicago. Of course, Ferris will not choose to take a tedious test; instead, he fakes illness to deceive his parents in order to skip school, leaving his sister Jeanie envious. Together with his good friend Cameron, the two boys got around the Dean of Students, Rooney, and drove Cameron’s father’s Ferrari to pick up Ferris’s girlfriend Sloane for a ride. Rooney has had enough of Ferris’s repeated tricks and decides to catch him in the streets. So the three of them – Ferris, Cameron, and Jeanie – go on an adventure of hiding their true identities while roaming the city…

Although Ferris Bueller’s Day Off came out in the 1980s, it remains cheerful and amusing to audiences today, reminiscent of people’s carefree youthhood. It is like a gift from the director to kids – the whole film resembles a lighthearted song. Despite the seeming superficiality, a day of skipping school allowed the three teenagers to find truths in life.
But… for all you adults out there, please remember to study 🙂
